You really had the audacity to pick only one fit batter
New Zealand have confirmed their much anticipated eighteen man squad for the World Cup today. The biggest surprise was regular James Neesham failing to make the cut despite his heroics in the last World Cup's final. Already on the fringes of the team due to him rejecting a central contract, Neesham's poor form in the run-up to the tournament was deemed to be the main reason for his exclusion. The team has also opted to include star names Williamson and Southee despite doubts over their fitness and availability. They are optimistic that the two players will be available for selection by the time the first game occurs. Tom Latham has been named the captain for the squad due to Williamson's fitness worry and it remains to be seen how the stand-in captain will do his job now that he's the captain for the entire tournament. New Zealand have also opted to include Finn Allen who has been in poor form for a while and Dean Foxcroft despite the latter's inauspicious debut on account of his domestic record being much stronger.

No, no reserves. Just an 18-player main squad.@Na Maloom Afraad do we also have to name reserves?
Thank you very much; that's almost eighteen. Would appreciate if you could name three more names.Oman Squad
