Sachin play lacrosse?

I agree with everything else btw. just questioning that one bit
I’d rank him top 100 for sure. Dravid, Laxman, Ganguly, Kapil, Gavaskar….in no particular oder is above Sachin.

Not to shy away from the debate but please lets not make this about Sachin, chill with some popcorn and watch him play the Masters.

Ok, I’ll keep it brief then. What in the brainrot is this opinion

Indeed so! Had an older account and posted frequently about Sachin being a woeful batsman on this board, still think so. Your reaction warms my heart a bit and takes me back to those days of long arguments, back then there were many passionate Indian fans, and we had good raport. Icyman and Wabbachubbab probably the only India guys remaining from that era.

apologies i cant indulge more my brother, mot a fan of the game as I use to be.

If India wins tomorrow, Rohit will have a golden opportunity to retire on a high.

I don't think he will be good enough to last until WC 2027. But given the role Gambhir has given him, it's likely he will continue on those quick 20s to 40s.

I want to see him last a bit. I believe he has got this slack from many ex players as well. In the last few ICC Finals too, Rohit has been content with scoring those quickfire 30 and 40s. It has a lot to do with the start, agreed, but for once, I want him to last atleast 15 overs. If he plays 40+ , the game will effectively have been decided there itself. As for 2027, I have a feeling he will retire from Test match cricket post this- he isn't made for that format at all and it might be better to simply have him for ODIs.

Been hearing a lot of talk about the potential appointment of Bumrah as the new Test captain. ODIs is a big mystery as to who will take on the leadership mantle.

For tomorrow- expecting a 50/60 from Rohit, Iyer might get to 70-80. Kohli wont score much in the final and neither will Gill.

From NZ, Ravindra and Williamson would be key.

Icy you think NZ got any chance of winning at all? To me on paper they seem pretty weak.

If there's one team that has consistently troubled India over the past few years, it has been NZ.

The squad make up is also good and they have all bases covered. Batsmen in form, decent middle order, hard hitters and bowling that has been spot on.

I do believe it will be a close game and NZ are in with a chance of winning for sure.

NZ will likely prove to be the bane for India again. In fact, I don't even expect a close game.

The body language of Indians looks down already after the initial assault by Ravindra. The finals are won and lost in the mind!
