Hi guys,

As hitterman posted some screens to be made.
I tried one but not completed fully and texture is not perfect.
orginal

Created just 40% done.

regarding the other model i will send it to you soon.

Its damn good appu:clap:clap
The news regarding the release of the game on Xbox360 is awesome.

Regarding my update, just modelled some buildings, will texture them tomorrow and give some screenies(probably)till tomorrow night.

My opinion is different. More than Graphics/Gameplay, Fun is the most important factor. But if we lag a bit in either Graphics/Gameplay, we are doomed.

For me neither Graphics is ahead of Gameplay or vice versa...both are equal. Now coming to the game progress, unlike gameplay/programming, Graphics design and Model design needs far less designing. Hence you see the models being developed so fast. This does not mean that other aspects are ignored. Its just that the "behind the screen" work for gameplay/programming is huge and that is what we are doing.

To update from a gameplay/programming perspective

1) We will be using XNA for both 2D and 3D development
2) Currently we are screening features list so that based on that we can create a storyline and then lay out all the screenies. So it would be a virtual game on the papers.
3) On the programming perspective, I am putting together some classes that the game would have.

THis game is on a very big scale where all the management, online, 3D play, gulli cricket theme, everything is put together.

Fair point you make there Vicky, and I see where you are coming from.

However, what product are you using for your 3D grounds? Is it shareware? I am just interested.. I can maybe help out, or just muck around with it myself.

I am not the right person to answer this, appu and hitterman would be replying soon as they are doing the work on those fronts at this point,

I have made a logo and this will be the current official logo. You can use this in your avys or sigs if you want.:)

Hitterman added 1 Minutes and 47 Seconds later...

I don't know why auto post merging isn't working

I like the whole concept but the text kinda' ruins it to be honest.

Do SketchUp files match with the ones you are using? I had a quick look and most of the 3D modelling studios cost a fair bit.
Hi Blake I understand your comments and let me tell you that in our game, everything will be more than you are expecting.

About the models, we are using Blender, 3DS Max but SketchUp models will also work. I just have to convert those skp format into collada and then into suitable format. Hence, sketchup models will also work if you are comfortable in that.

I think Das has already said what I was about to say. Both Graphics and Gamplay matters and when the game is on 360 then Graphics must be excellent otherwise it will be useless to play it on 360.

Regarding the programming, we are using XNA and C# for both 2D and 3D. If you even a learner of C#, you still may be able to help us because the case will be same like me.

but to be fair to hitterman, i think this game is more based around the idea of gulli cricket then it is a full on C07 game.
Well it's a game based on play's life and career hence it needs to be started from the street cricket then advances to U19 cricket, then to International and finally becoming a successful player.

I like the whole concept but the text kinda' ruins it to be honest.
Even I was feeling too. I'll be correcting this today.

Thanks for the response Hitty.. good luck with the game, and I'll keep checking by to see how it's going.

A little bit early to announce it for Xbox 360! But hopefully it can live up to the expectations.

I know it's a bit early to announce for 360 but it's not a big problem to convert this game for 360. We were thinking of Zune too but now at the moment, only PC and XBox 360.
