5th Test: England vs Australia at the Brit Oval

Marcus North that was throwing water on your previous performances.

Has Prior actually made a mistake of note? I certainly can't remember a dropped catch or a mistake he's made all series. Looks far more confident in his keeping, and has improved immensely. Nice to see. So used to seeing England cricketers stagnating and not improving (Cook, Panesar, Collingwood etc), so it's really good to see someone improving their game and working hard to do so.

Prior is best WK+batsman in Test cricket at the moment.

Prior has been exceptional this series with the gloves, has really outclassed Haddin.

Yeah but they just showed their batting stats and Haddin has averaged 49 this series compared to Prior's 31. Seeing as Prior is a batsman who keeps that's a pretty poor average.

Not in his career, averaging 46 overall in his career, and his keeping has shown notable improvement. He'd certainly be up there for me, Boucher and Dhoni would probably come slightly ahead of him, but Prior's not far off.

He's only averaging 32 with the bat though.

At current stage Yes. Do you want him to avergae 50?

Who cares about averages. How much Vettori averages. Doesn't make him bad test bowler.
