If someone else wants to captain they can, but if no one else does I'm more than happy to do it. Is all they'll be doing is selecting the line-ups right?

Yea, just the lineups.

Well a bit stiff I couldnt lead the bowlers.side as I would have loved to but my PC tweaked up so its good for.me. Hope tarun takes us to glory

I feel Dipak will be the best person to do the job now. He will captain the bowlers XI, thus.

If another captain/vice-captain resigns or is inactive.

Without babbling much, I will just put down the main rules.

1. Player ratings are uncertain. They will be all identical at the start of the series, but will vary as the series progresses according to certain factors, namely injuries and activity.

2. Activity based ratings variations will depend on members' activity before and after the matches. If they are highly active, they will receive a 1-2 points bonus in their ratings (per two matches). Medium activity will ensure the steadiness of the player's ratings, and low or negligible activity will lead to a decline in ratings (upto 2-3 points per two matches).

3. Every match except the first, exactly one player from each team will be injured for one match only. Though this player will be allowed to play, he will suffer from a tremendous decline in his ratings, the amount by which the ratings are lowered not revealed. Thus the captains will have to choose the players smartly. As mentioned above, the player will be back after the match.

4. The fixtures will consist of a practice series between the two teams, which will consist of three matches and no injuries. Activity will be crucial in these practice matches, as it'll decide the ratings in upcoming matches. There will be a seven-ODI series following it, ensuing which would be a practice test, and a five-match test series. The matches will take place around the world. The complete fixtures list along with the location of matches is given below.

I have refrained from using any fancy names for the tournament. I plan to keep this simple, as well as making this as enjoyable as it can. :)

Captains may start posting the lineups for the first practice OD in thread itself, make sure you balance the players well, as this thing matters the most. Make sure you play 6 bowlers and a keeper.

The batting lineup should have the ^ marking the bowlers, while the bowling lineup should have the ^ marking the ones who won't bowl, for there are already 9-10 bowlers in the playing XI.
