Another great knock by Finch. Good to see four of our five batsmen who were called out to bat score fifties. Birt's knock too was very useful for us in the end. We never looked like losing that after our pacers got those early breakthroughs and exposed SL's patchy middle/lower order earlier than they'd have liked.
Taking lineups for Round 7. After this round, we'll have a week's break and the injuries will be reset to none.
Australia A vs Pakistan A at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore
Sri Lanka A vs New Zealand A at Basin Reserve, Wellington
West Indies A vs England Lions at Lord's Cricket Ground, London
South Africa A vs India A at Eden Gardens, Kolkata
I've been busy and slightly absentminded these days, so in case I've forgotten something, do tell me. Except stats; they will be available after this round.
Finally our ever-injured lead tweaker is fit. I would expect a dust bowl resembling to the 5th day of the Mumbai test played between India and Australia back in 2004. With 3 spinners and a long long list of batters used to playing on rank turners, I expect nothing short of a win.
