For each win, the team will get 4 points, for each loss 2 points subtracted. Draw earns 1 points to each team.

Series win +2 points extra and if the team wins a match or looses a match with the run-rate being 1.5 times or vice-versa that of opponent, then -0.5 points extra.
And if you beat a team above your rank you get 0.5 points extra.

Test Matches - +0.5 for win by an innings, -0.5 for loss by an innings.

As I said earlier, if we start from season 2, the rankings would lack base.
And you'll be playing enough matches until the end of season to be able to climb to the top.
