A free mp3,m4a etc to ASF converter?

The ASF files the EA games use aren't normal ASF files anyway. You will need to use the ditty importer, which is an EA made tool for putting music into their games. My sound editing tutorial for Cricket 07 should work on 05 as well (the xml file might have a different name) and comes with most of the stuff you need.
It only supports mp3/wav import though, so you will need to convert the m4a files to mp3 first. Unless they are ones you bought from iTunes (in which case you'll need to do a much more complicated thing) a program called SUPER will do it fine, it is a bit complicated, but works.
