The day had been coming for a long time. Sir Alex had been the manager of Manchester United for well over 20 years, and he felt it was right to retire and let somebody younger takeover the club. He sure went out with a bang. Premier League Champions, Champions League Winners and FA Cup Finalists. It was a sad day when Sir Alex left, but the club had to look forward, and I was looking forward to seeing who they appointed. I drove home that night, thinking about who would be my new boss. I woke up the next day and turned on my laptop. I went on the news sites and found nothing. I thought I better just check my emails, and there it was. An email from the boss.

Manchester United said:
To: Simon
From: Joel Glazer, Manchester United Board

Dear Simon,
Sir Alex has left us on a real high. We have been scanning the world for managers with talent, experience and the will to keep Manchester United at the top of world football. We did not find the man we are looking for. Then we had a thought. You know the game, you know the club, you know the players and the fans. You have been the assistant now for 3 years, and have a wealth of experience as you have managed Portsmouth, Fulham and also Blackburn during your managerial career. We believe you are the man for the job, and if you would like to take us up on the offer, please get back to me as soon as possible.

Joel Glazer

I couldn't turn it down. It was my big chance. A chance of a lifetime for me. I am the manager of Man United. Oh My God.

Kill Joel Glazer and the rest of his twattish ****ing **** family. Good luck with the story :thumbs

I would probably lose my job, so I will leave him for now :p

He is going to give me a big budget and improve the stadium by adding a second tier to the South Stand. What reason do I have to complain?

Transfer News
ManUnited.Com has learnt that manager Simon has agreed to sell 3 of his current team. The deal will see John O'Shea depart to Sunderland for a figure estimated around ?2.7m. Wes Brown will also leave Old Trafford and move to West Brom for ?2.4m, along with Darren Fletcher who will move to Newcastle for ?6.6m.

Simon said "Since my takeover as manager here at Old Trafford just a few days ago, I have recieved offers for several of my players. Some of the offers, I and my players have found insulting and others have been worthy offers. The offers that I deem worthy, have resulted in the sale of the players involved, providing the players agree the terms of course. I would like to wish Wes, Darren and John best wishes with future endeavours. They have been an intergral part of the squad in recent years and I wish them every success in the future"

News Conference
"It is with regret I have to tell you, that two of the team at Old Trafford have taken the decision to retire from football. Gary Neville and Paul Scholes have decided they've had enough, and will be hanging up the boots so to speak. They have both played for Manchester United for many years now, and have been a part of this great team for over a decade. They have both decided to carry on working for Manchester United. Paul will work on the scouting side, while Gary will work on the soccer schools side of the club"

Transfers
Me and my team have been in contact with several players about moving to Manchester United. We can now confirm we have signed two players, both whom have contacted Manchester United in the previous transfer window.

Miguel Veloso
We have agreed a 4 year contract with Miguel, which will see him move to Old Trafford from Sporting Lisbon. He will play with ex. team-mates Ronaldo and Nani and the contract has been agreed at ?55,000 per week. The cost of Miguel will be ?26m.

Mat?as Fern?ndez
Mat?as has joined us on a 5 year contract from Villareal. He is known for play-making, ball skills and free kicks and his contract will be worth ?45,000 per week. Mat?as will cost the club ?8.8m, which we see as a superb deal for a player of his calibre.
