It returns! But this time all the precautions have been taken. It takes the shape of the graphics competition started by Pranav. Please read carefully about the rules, points and who to enter to. This post will constantly be updated to make it easier to use


Week 1 Theme: Any ODI shirt 2009/2010 (ODI means only International)(NO NUMBERING)
e.g. Kenya, India, South Africa


Entries for this week must be sent to:

Entry:
Send to the person as shown before (either arjind or Binnu)
Send by: 12 Noon (PC time) May 7th
The entry should include the download and a preview (800x600 limit)
Please also provide the theme that will be used if your entry wins
The competition will be run every fortnight
Send DDS files for most downloads (Will state any changes)
Great looking Previews won't gain extra marks neither will bad previews but just make sure the preview shows the main areas in the download and is within the size limit

Rules:
The download must be new/ made for this competition (a preview or download cannot be released before the theme is announced and a preview or download cannot be released until the results are declared)
Your effort will also be judged, i.e. HAVE YOU TRIED HARD
The theme will be picked by the winner of the last week
There will be 10 weeks in a championship

Points and judging:
The entries will all reach the panel anonymously
If a member of the panel enters, they can not rate their work
The panel is currently made up of efficient and impartial members most of whom are experienced in the world of download creating.

The points are as follows:
1st - 5 points (10,000 vCash)
2nd - 2 points
3rd - 1 point

They are allocated like this to encourage as many people to enter.

1st in the week: 10,000 vCash

1st at the end: 300,000 vCash
2nd at the end: 200,000 vCash
3rd at the end: 100,000 vCash

First, we're going to have a Trial Run for one week in order to make all users aware of what actually is this.
And Arjind, why don't you add up a phrase "Trail Run" in the thread name?
That would help lots of people.

OK, thanks for your support and suggestions but to keep this thread neat (for now) let's just use it purely for the main part of the competition, all other things can be dealt via PM or VM
