I find the Mark Nicholas accent as the most polite of the lot.

That would be because he is probably the most upper class out of the lot.

What 'type' of English accent does Freddie have? Can't understand a single thing he says.

I used to live in manchester/lanc area and I don't remember having such a hard time understanding things!

He's not a Manc is Freddie, he's a more of a Preston area guy. I'm from more over this side of Manchester, the accents are a lot different to Manc accents.
