Auckland have the likes of Vincent, Styris, Guptill, Hopkins, de Grandhomme, Bopara, and Tuffey, a lot more matchwinners when compared with CD.

its a shame the english teams are not in the CLT20 as this cup is bigger then any other english domistic tournement also hampshire ROYALS & sommerset could have done with the ??

I think the CL should be a competition between the top 10 countries' domestic teams. So the teams would have been like this.
Australia:Victoria
Bangladesh:Khulna (or is it Dhaka?)
India:Chennai
England:Hampshire (I think)
New Zealand:Central Districts
Pakistan:Sialkot
SA:Im pretty sure it was the Warriors
Sri Lanka:Wayamba
West Indies:Guyana
Zimbabwe:Harare or somthing like that
It would have been better than the current CL in my point of view.

spot on, its supposed to be a showcase of the best domestic teams so it only makes sense to have the best team from each country with all the players playing for their local sides.

Too bad thats not what it will ever be as long as the BCCI is running things. It will just be another way to make a quick buck off our beloved game while sodomizing it violently beyond recognition.

I really couldn't give a rats how Central go tbh but they'll still be worth watching, they've got four young bowlers who can all send it down at over 140K so that should be rather interesting.

Hard luck to CD, would be good having a competitive NZ team. It's a bit like our situation with SA not looking so hot without their internationals, NSW would have been the better bet especially with all their internationals.
