Addressing the vCash inflation issue

Why do we need to do anything? If someone has large amount of vcash, does he become someone special?

I don't get it. How can you predict that odds will be greater than 1/1? Please explain what you mean...

They only give out lots of vCash if the unfancied side wins. Which is normally very unlikely and hence the high odds. If you reduce them no one will bet on them at all.

Making up fake odds is stupid, the odds are made in RL by PROFESSIONALS!

They're one sided for a reason, if an odd is 10/1, it means that it's very likely that it won't come off, so you're taking a massive risk.

Donations are the problem, ATM people don't care, they're just betting, and if they lose it doesn't matter as they just go and beg for more, and can get like 50 million easily.

Stopping donations won't solve the problem either. If you just consider that as a problem, then the solution is to ask to donators from stop doing so!

I feel that reducing the vCash to a particular limit and then working slightly on the odds of the one-sided events could work.

Sohum's suggestion looks good too. Put a limit on the betting amount.

We could close the vcash begging thread and make it illegal for members to ask for vcash by VM or PM. Then, people can only get a huge donation if the donator wants it. That would suit the leagues as well.
