Speaking of GF speeches, i was quite impressed with Ross Lyon`s post-match speech, he didnt look sulky, he accepted the loss and got on with it. Great guy. But like Riewoldt said, we`ll remember the pain next year.

I try being a Saints supporter after only 1 premiership. Was on BigFooty just now, and saw a thread saying 'I hate the fact that i love St.Kilda so much.' Exactly how i feel, no doubt alot of Saints Supporters as well. Wish we`d get rewarded after years of hard-ship.

I felt for the Saints yesterday, not only because they are my second favourite team, not because i hate geelong, and not because my brother goes for the Saints. But because the amount of years they have tried with hardly any success. They should have beaten us "The crows" in 97, but they just didnt have the contributors on the day. They had a star studded team, Burke, Loewe, Harvey, Hall, Lockett in his time, and yet they still had no success. They had the leagues best ever goal kicker.

They have a very good side this year, without any success. Sure they finished on top of the ladder by a mile, but it doesn't matter when they couldn't perform on the big stage. Sur Geelong didn't play their best football, but neither did St.Kilda for that matter. Riewoldt, Koschitzke both had very dirty games, and both couldn't get near the footy. Stephen Milne, did a lot of stupid things when he got the footyball, trying to take players on and scrubbing some kicks into goal when he should kick the ball at post height. The little things killed the Saints yesterday, and i feel for them

Riewoldt and Koschitzke didnt have much impact because they are more dominant in contested marking. The conditions didnt suit them at all, they had clear leaps and could`ve marked the ball easy if the ball wasnt so wet. Not saying that Harry Taylor and Scarlett didnt do a good job, but 30% of the job were done by the weather conditions. Might`ve cost us the game tbh.

On the Max Hudgeton thing. Why couldn't both Dawson and him play? I mean you guys have players like Milne and Ralph Clarke running around!

OffCutters, if you were a long-time St. Kilda fan of 50 years, then you are allowed to say that stuff. But you have probably only been supporting them for 7-8 years max, so you can't say you're so hard-done by as a fan because you haven't got a premiership. I have not seen the Demons win a premiership in all the time I have supported them. I have seen them lose a grand final. So, you aren't alone..

There we go. Though, in a lighter side of things, i hate being bagged for because the Saints only having 1 premiership Sigh..not cursing Darrel Buldock or anything like that, but hope he`s alive next year and is able to present us the premiership cup, providing we win, of course. I`m not going ahead of myself.

Not too sure, but it might be because Ross Lyon wanted one of them to stay at full-back, and the role of Raph Clarke, as useless as he is, might just be as a running free-flowing defender. Not too sure though, i`d be as useful as Raph Clarke when it comes to this.

You guys really need to get rid of Milne. He's becomes very soft and basically screwing things up. You have Schneider who's half-decent.

I`m alright with Schneider, but i reckon we drop Milne and try to get Andrew Lovett to replace him. But having said that, Milne just plays ████ in finals. So...yeah.
