Would you want a disruptive influence like Shoaib in your team though ? I certainly wouldn't want him at Essex. We don't have a great bowling attack, but Shoaib would only be a negative influence on the team. I'm glad the PCB have upheld the international ban, it'd have been incredibly weak of them to just give in and let him back. At the end of the day, he's been a complete fool for the past few years, hasn't played a decent amount of cricket and Pakistan have done alright without him, they're better off without him in my book, and world cricket would be better off without him.
