INDIAN SQUAD ANNOUNCED
Guys, any sign of my co-manager? This is a squad I have selected, if he doesn't agree with it, then he is allowed to make any changes whatsoever.
A couple of the players within the squad are Test or ODI players only, most fit into both categories though. This squad now contains 15 qualified ODI players - everyone (apart from Dhoni) qualifies to play in the Test arena.

First Champions Trophy Squad:
1. Sunil Gavaskar (*)
2. Sourav Ganguly (VC)
3. Sachin Tendulkar
4. Rahul Dravid (+)
5. Mohammad Azharuddin
6. Kapil Dev
7. Irfan Pathan
8. Madan Lal
9. Anil Kumble
10. Ajit Agarkar (OB2)
11. Javagal Srinath (OB1)
--------------------------
12. Mahendra Dhoni
In my opinion, this is a strong Indian line-up. All of the main batsmen have averages above 30, with Tendulkar and Ganguly with averages above 40! With batsman Rahul Dravid keeping, it leaves the door open for extra bowlers.
The two all-rounders in Kapil Dev and Irfan Pathan in the middle-order provide stable batting with averages over 25, and great bowling averages aswell!
One spinner is playing - Anil Kumble! The tail all have averages around 15 (Lal's average around 20), which is very helpul in ODI's. They also have bowling averages below 30.
It is a very strong team - and should not be underestimated!
