A poll but not by nik
THe reason I started this was because the one started by nik the other day had Ajit Agarkar in it and did not have kapil,hadlee,botham... in it
I don`t think nick knows much about cricket except for the contemporary players and that is the reason he ends up with some foolish choices in his polls .

W.G.Grace would not have fit into the choices list bcoz noone knew how good the standard of cricket was at that time but he must have been good
Was Neil harvey of the famous INVINCIBLES AUSSIE side an all rounder too ?

sobers.but unfortunately he didnt play too many onedayer which whould have really tested his allround abilities......i dont mean to be disrespectful because he is still the greatest.

B) i dont think one has to play a oneday game to be a allrounder

a player is called allrounder when he can bat , bowl and feild. in any form of cricket.

i gave my vote to imran but if andrew can change it to sobers...thanx...i voted for the wrong person by accident

I think Richard Hadlee was the best bowling allrounder. He took 431 test wickets in only 86 tests. The players who overtook him all played far more than he did, eg Walsh (not an allrounder but a bowler) played about 50 more tests and only took 88 more wickets.
Kapil Dev played 45 more tests and only took 3 more wickets.
Wasim Akram played 18 more tests and took less wickets.
