Who do you think deserves to win this year?
Just name a player for each category.....

Here's my prediction:
Allan Border Medal -Mitchell Johnson
Test Player of the Year - Simon Katich
One-Day Player of the Year -Shane Watson
State Player of the Year -?
Bradman Young Cricketer of the Year -Peter Siddle

AB - Johnson (Unfortunately)
Test - Katich/Siddle/Clarke?
ODI - Mussey/Ponting (They'll get Ponting something)
State - Klinger/Khawaja/Cowan?
Young - George/Hastings?

Allan Border Medal - Mitchell Johnson
Test Player of the Year - Shane Watson
ODI Player of the Year - Michael Clarke
State Player of the Year - Chris Rogers
Bradman Young Cricketer of the Year - Mitchell Marsh

TBH I hope Johnson doesn't win the AB medal. He hasn't really played to well. Watto or Katich should win the test player of the year.

Yeah, leading Test wicket taker for '09, ████ he's terrible. :sarcasm

Remember Biggy, Covvy is from Tasmania so his judgement on a lot of things aren't quite so clear. Must be something in the Tasmanian waters.

Carke for What

I'm not a huge Watson fan, but he has played exceptionally well in ODI's as well as tests so I wouldn't be surprised if he got both

Allan Border Medal -S.Katich
Test Player of the Year - M.Johnson
One-Day Player of the Year -S.Watson
Bradman Young Cricketer of the Year -P.Siddle

Best: Watson
Test: Katich or Johnson
ODI: Ponting or Hussey
State: Klinger
Rising Star: Wide open. How young is young? There are lots of really good, really young players, but Paine could easily trump them.

Siddle's played too many games so he wont be eligible.

The other one that'll be interesting who if anybody will be inducted into the Hall Of Fame

Actually, Young Cricketer could be Scott Walter or Ben Cutting, they go alright. Also, Watson could also be a contender for the AB medal, I mean, many people could have just given up their careers there and then when they get injured as muchas they do; Watson's pushed on and become a great Test/ODI player this year...I don't know haha.

Could be a Watson clean sweep with the way hes gone in all forms but probably a bit late coming into the Test side. Of course if Watson can be considered for best Test player then Ponting's late ODI purple patch might be enough to get him that one.

AB - Johnson (most likely)/Watson
Test - Katich
ODI - Watson with the bowling just pips Ponting
Young gun - Khawaja

Good thread this. Michael Hussey might get in for ODI cricketer?

Johnson for the big one, Katich or Clarke for tests, Probably Khawaja for the Bradman award. And Stuart Broad for the womens award :p

Best state cricketer: Klinger (again)
