Animation tutorials

hey usy, nice tutorial :D

i've tried to make a sig that changes slides but it comes out like this:

there should be 4 slides, any ideas???? :help :help :help

Have you used any animation software to animate the sig, and then saved it after it has been animated?

i just used Image Ready and 'save optimised' it. I saved it as a JPEG first, but the one I posted is a GIF

I'm not sure because I don't have any imageready, so sorry about that. But I'm sure someone else will be willing to help you on this.

ok thanx - BTW image ready is some software that comes with Photoshop, so its basically the same as that :p

PS - HELP STILL WANTED :help

Do you want to send me the files by email and then I will try and get you what you want?

that would be really kind of you, thanx for the offer!!! But im trying to find out how I could do it myself in the future, its not so much about this sig but more about how its possible to do it. Thanx for the offer but i'll leave it this time :D

Oh right, kk thats sound, sorry thought you were just concerned about doing it with that sig.

no need to be sorry, it was a kind offer!!!!

EDIT: just out of interest, has anybody noticed that posts in this sub-forum dont count??? i noticed and thought that that was a bit wierd?!?!?

Ok what you do is you open Image Ready.
Then you should have an animation box open at the bottom left.
If not press F11 and the box should come up.
Then go to the little arrow pointing right underneath the red x and click on it.
Then click on new frame.
Make as many frames as you want.
Each time putting a different picture in each one and changing the visibility of the images for each different frame in the bottom right box.
Then after that choose how long you want the frames to stay for by clicking '0 sec' button and choose the length of time for each frame.
Then set your optimaziations setting and then go to 'file' and 'save optimised as'

hope you understood :)

As far as i knw, To save it as a gif u need Imageready though u can make the animation i.e frame by frame (only animation not saving) in photoshop itself! I asked the same question infact long long time back to Sid and Saurabh and they told me this :)
