I used Bannershop and mine are bit blurry unfortonatly. Must be the jpeg to gif conversion.

Guys hello and welcome to my first ever tutorial , Please
ignore any spelling mistakes or bad English.

Need : PhotoShop , ImageReady

First of all to get started we need the picture we want to put rain effects on ?.

I will be using this picture ;)

1. On your picture create new layer by pressing CTRL + SHIFT + N
,then fill the layer with black.

2. Go to

and do the following settings

3. Then go on to
Filter>Blur>Motion Blur
do this settings

4. Now change the blending mode of your layer to what suites your layers the best, I will do mine Exclusion

5. Repeat steps 1,2,4 , three times ( can do it more then that) but remember to do different settings for
(STEP #3), change the angle of Motion Blur so each time in your layer you go down a number in angle (e.g.; I will do it -63,-64,-65,-66)

6. Hide all the rain effect layers then jump on to ImageReady (CTRL+SHIFT+M)

I don't get your first question..

the answer to second question is save optimized as (.gif format).

i really wanna make an animation. i have adobe cs3 extended and when i press CTRL+SHIFT+M it doesn't work

i don't have CS3, sorry i don't know, better ask someone who has that.

CS3 doesn't have imageready. So if you press CTRL+SHIFT+M, its not going to do anything. You need CS2 or older for imageready...

you can do animation with photoshop cs3 even i have it and i do animation
you gotta go to window-animation
