I guess he can but he has never managed a league. So, it might be tough for him to know from the perspective of a league manager.

I haven't been active in the league section for as long as bcvs or callum. I probably am one, if not the most active poster though. I also didn't my name up for consideration when I pm-ed MattW And I agree with varun, I've never run a league so it probably wouldn't be appropriate for me. I've helped run numerous ones though, pointing out mistakes, etc. I've wanted to run a league but I've never had an original enough idea to differentiate it from the other leagues that are active. I do have a story in the works though

Maybe next time I will put my name forward, but I still think Callum and bcvs are the frontrunners for the new mod.

Story forums are my place of interest, so I'll suggest a few names here. I think Trev said he can't be made a mod again so that goes down. Can Ollie manage stories and other stories forums? If yes, he can be made the mod of the story section too. If not, then other name which comes to my mind is shantanu_rooney. He hasn't been posting much recently but then again there's a life for him outside. Other than these, just_cricket can do the job. I myself won't mind if it helps the story forum and the site if I'm not considered a newbie still.

IF I was actually going to become a mod, I would prefer to just mod the leagues section, if possible.
They are separate parts of the forum now, so you can have separate mods for each.

I think another mod is needed. I asked surendar to delete a poll from my thread, a few times in fact, and he's come online but not done it yet.

Also, what happened to the League of the Month comp? I haven't heard a whisper about it since the first month it ran..

That's why we need a new mod

Remember that you can always ask global mods and admins to do that stuff as well. If you report the first post of your thread with the action you want taken you don't need to PM everyone and hope for the best.

No Global mod/Admin one is interested in Leagues Section. It is better we get a new mod who is specifically active in Leagues Section.

It doesn't matter if they are interested in the section if all they need to do is remove a poll. As posted previously we are looking at the mod situation in the League and Story section and hope to take action sooner rather than later.

Again, that is not my point. I was responding to biggy saying:

And the fact that the best and perfectly fine way of getting small things like that done is to report your own thread and mention you'd like the poll removed. Simple.
