I've spoken to a few people who have downloaded it already, sounds like most the same issues still remain... bit disappointing hearing the in depth lacklustre thoughts on a patch that is so big...

I have been messing around with attributes - set serve values for flat, top spin and slice to zero
Set all backhand and forehand values to zero
Drop shot set to zero
This for AI player
Played on veteran
AI first serve percentage never dips below 75%
The rallies play hardly any different. Slightly more shots hit the net or go long but generally points played out as normal.
AI can still play killer drop shots, not one hit the net even on zero value attribute
This is pre patch btw

Great! Sounds really promising! If they canb tweak gameplay right and give some modifiers like in Ashes that will be fantastic.....

Yes, with the battle between this game and TWT pretty much over before it started, and @mikeymerren willingness to elicit feedback and suggestions from us, I'm excited for what the game is, and what it could become.

Struggling to understand the timing concept off this game. For the life of me I can hit shots that are green, mainly orange or red. I have played for about 3 hours and cannot get this right. I know it is me that is doing something wrong but cannot work out what.

Hard to say AO has won the battle with TWT, like come on... AO has been out for 4+ months and is marginally better than where it first started... this latest patch has actually made the game go backwards, the AI is now even more powerful with the ability to reach any ball anywhere on the court, even coming from the net to the baseline to reach a bloody passing shot... seemingly still has infinite stamina and accuracy, it would be great if the AI was adaptive and actually played differently, but it's just all the same
I'm probably wasting my breathe though really, seems no negative feedback gets taken into account with the game... if you guys somehow enjoy this game after this patch, I really can't picture how in all honesty

I find that If I let go of the button and try to press as smooth and rhythmically like real tennis I get the best results...you have to relax and you have more time than you think!!
