I personally think codemasters are not seeing a huge oppurtunity to dominate the cricket games market. All they have to do is put their brains to it and get a new version of BLC out that incorporates all the changes that people have been asking far and get the graphics up to date. Instead they have pretty much closed the door to future cricket games. I wonder who was responsible for such a poor marketing decision by codemasters. Maybe it is because they have lost the talent pool of programmers that worked on BLC to other companies? I heard two of them worked on Cricket 2002. Maybe others who worked on it have also left Codemasters? Which could also explain why their support for the game is very poor and they don't answer any questions posed to them because they simply dont know how to answer them because anyone who knew anything about the game has already left the company.
Maybe all of us should chip in money and buy the rights to BLC from Codemasters and then make it the most advanced shareware cricketing game ever. Kinda like a LINUX movement.
