Another few random thoughts:

The fielders don't even twitch as the bowler ambles in,far too static. Even having them rock side to side would look slightly better.

The bowler's run up is slow and plodding, no pace at all.

The batsman ends up getting dangerously close to his stumps to say he is playing forward to a full length ball.

The back lift and batsman movement is hideous.

It feels like the screenshots. The kind of early dev shot that should have been a sneak peek 6 months ago.

If you pause the near the last frame it is *exactly* like the screenshots....

New Line & Length system + random (apparently....) - Ball doesn't land on the pitch marker so I think it's working!

We do feel for the devs on the floor down there, someone in management obviously really hates them, a lot.

I haven't seen the Video yet as it is not accessible at work, but going by the comments, it seems pretty awful.

By the way, does anyone have an idea as to where the 'The Guy Who Gets It' is these days? Haven't seen him posting for awhile, I hope he's alright and not beaten up for trying to patronize people in real life .

Well, if you picture the screenshots already seen, and think about printing a whole lot of them a frame apart and then flicking through them you would get the idea...

TableTop Cricket is more lifelike and has better mo-cap... last I'll post on this video, I'll leave you all to it...
