Geniunely Happy for Kohli.

He is an inspiration for this generation not just in cricket but the way he has transformed himself with fitness, dedication and hard work.

Although I didn't watch a single a today. :D

Was out partying with friends.

If anyone wants to know what India's problem with tha ball is then yesterday is a fine example. 5 for nothing and we were still unable to bowl out an opposition that was on the ropes.

If we play a finger spinner then he must be able to PROPERLY bat. If we play a swing bowler and we must then he must be able to bat.

Our issue has been that we have not identified people for these roles.

As good as Bhuvi was last night, I would only carry him in the squad. Chahar, given a run swings it all corners and I have been saying for so long now that wickets at the top is gold. Chahar bats too and gives the freedom to the top 3 to whack it. He has to be 8.

We need to play Bishnoi or Chahal depending on the ground and opposition. The two quicks are Bumrah and Arshdeep. One is an all round bowler and the other a PP bowler for 1 over, 1 in the middle and 2 at the back end.

Alright then. Moving onto the next topic of discussion: Time since VK's last Test/ODI century - begin.....

India needs to identify its main men. If already identified, play them as a team. Only playing them together in a World Cup won't work. The team will not gel together.

Please don't shake your hand with anyone else now Virat. Let's keep it and continue the show.

Even though its a dress rehearsal for the Final, I don't expect the sides involved to make many changes to their lineups. Unlike a team that recently crashed out, not knowing who their best XI was/is/will be....

I am fully expecting both teams to play their bench today. I don't see a reason to play a full strength team over here.

If it's about not being able to gel together, then Australia did not play their full strength team after 2016 WT20 and yet they went on to win the title.

Australia’s T20 WC win is something that defies logic every time you think about it. The team had no middle order batters (no, Stoinis doesn’t count. He still is a natural top order bat forced into the middle order because all-rounders are so and he has long levers) except for the one they chose to play at three instead of one of the greatest talents their country has ever seen (who got played completely out of position at five) and he went on to be the MVP. Oh and their bowling attack had two bowlers who were primarily test match bowlers in terms of playing style and the one white ball legend who wasn’t in great form either. They also had one of their openers be a total non-contributor with the bat and the other was heading in with a cloud over his head regarding form. The best part was that they played an opener down at seven as a primarily specialist keeper and finisher.

2021 indeed was a strange year for T20s. CSK winning the IPL with just a strong opening pair and no wrist spin bowlers also adds to it.
