Three pacers is fine. The only issue is that Avesh is one of them but I feel he’s due a good game soon.
Pant being dropped is surprising though after the backing he was given initially. DK does deserve to play ahead of him though. We also have no left-handed option in the top six now which can be an issue if SKY and Hardik don’t dominate against the spinners.

Having gone back and looked at Pant’s record, he did do decently in the last two T20Is he played and his best years in T20Is have been the last two. They are not even close to the standards that he is capable of but I can see why some still want him in the side.
