Okay jokes aside, but Jadeja being ruled out is a massive blow for India because he is going through a purple patch.

While Axar Patel is a good replacement, he is no where close to Jadeja at the moment.

On the contrary I think Axar could be a really good replacement. Needs to improve on his batting and there’s no way he ever gets close to Jadeja the fielder but his bowling is better than Jadeja’s IMO and Axar cannot be limited by the bowling side as easily as Jadeja when he bats.

Massive game for Afghanistan tonight. They are expected to do well, and they should win tonight. Feeling sad for them as on 7th they're playing Pakistan at Sharjah and then on 8th against India in Dubai. So they'll likely to lose to India.... Need to beat SL and PAK. should play final.

Why india playing all matches in Dubai? Everyone else playing across two venues. Such things unnecessarily gives birth to those "conspiracy theories"

I agree with Jadeja being the better batsman at the moment. But I don’t agree with wanting a batting all-rounder just because of an unrelated issue of our top order being brittle. The solution to the latter is to fix that. Controversial take but I’d argue that Axar is the second best white ball spinner we have at the moment and maybe even first if Chahal blows hot and cold.
