Asia Cup 2022 - Sri Lanka (UAE)

I don't know why people think Pakistan stand a chance of beating India, especially without Shaheen.

Did you guys not see/hear about our last ODI series (which was against the Netherlands)?
Only hope is a slow, low pitch, India bat first and get less than 150.

Assuming this will be the playing XI for India,

Rohit - out of touch
Rahul - return after a long gap
Kohli - let's not talk about it
SKY - In Form
Pant - Hit or Miss :left: :right:
Hardik - Doing good
Hooda/Karthik - Decent bet
Jadeja - At par
Ash/Yuzi - Good
Bhuvi - In Form
Avesh - Expensive

India has always relied on its top order (Top 3) since last decade or more. That is what is the major area of concern for India.

That is why us as Indians are not high on optimism for this clash. Which was never the case in the last entire decade. Plus the added pressure that Pak won the last encounter between the two nations makes it more plausible again.

This is exactly what happened after Pakistan beat India in CT'17 final.

Everyone bashed India and put Pakistan as the favorites, to not only beat India, but to win AC'18. And look how that turned out.

Then may be it's our very own reverse jinx strategy compounded at a national level. You never know. :p

Difference is, anyone with some sense doesn't expect us to win this time. In 2018 we went in with far more confidence, also because India was fielding a second-string side.
