At this point I’m convinced that this is a technique coached in your tailenders by the coaches along the pipeline somewhere in the system. I’ve seen Hasan Ali start his banging career with drives, Hasnain and Shaheen surprise everyone with their late cameos with a straight bat and it’s now Naseem’s turn.

Another wonderful match! This tournament has been exceptional! Please Please throw bilaterals into the dustbin of history and fill up the ICC calendar with multi-nation tournaments please! If we want to bring back the passion of the 90's, we need more multi-nation tournament in T20s and ODIs, to complement the franchise leagues (which are multi-franchise too).

Fazalhaq Farooqi was sensational until those 2 balls of overwhelming anxiety getting the better of him. That slower ball he bowled to get Nawaz was just brilliant! Though Asif Ali didnt win the game for Pakistan, what a cool customer he is when he is batting (though he lost it in the end and had an ugly altercation with the bowler after his wicket). And those 2 sixes from Naseem Shah (a No. 10) was just jaw dropping. Credit where its due and well played Pakistan! They are naturally a very good T20 team and these conditons are so common to them that they look very much at ease (though yes, their now infamous 'unpredictability' always means they will look stupid once in a while).
