Asia Cup 2023

UAE has been used many times . Don't know why not this time .
Nobody wanted to play an ODI cup in UAE this time around (last time it happened players were getting injured a lot)

UAE also have rules of not working outside, not using bikes between 12-3/4

Meh . I have always been in favour of tournaments to be held in Australia , UAE and India ( They provide the grandest events possible ) . UAE has been used many times . Don't know why not this time .

The grandness of an Indian WC where the schedule keeps changing every month? That one?

For all the talk of how rain has affected the Asia Cup… there’s only been one fixture that has been forced into not having a result so far due to rain (and is likely to not have a result again) and it’s the one fixture that every team is trying to ensure happens at vain cost. How ironic.

I have a question, how will ICC deal with this shit (CT 2025 is in Pakistan) will ICC grow some balls or not?

Will get moved as well probably.
So I guess ICC just exists to suck BCCI Willy? What if Pakistan tells everyone to go f themselves? Like ICC use Pakistan to make money but would not even hesitate to bury them 6ft under the ground at the first chance they get!

Only way I see CT 2025 happening in Pakistan is somehow India not qualifying for it. Or if they refuse to play. Very unlikely either way.

India and Pakistan in two different groups. Pakistan's group plays in Pakistan, India's group in UAE. Knockouts in UAE as well.

Thank God for the hybrid model, or the couple matches that were peacefully and safely completed in Pakistan would have been washed out as well.

They could refuse to play, I think that's not too unlikely. CT is not an especially important event
Well if you ask me, why even have a CT. It’s the same tournament as the ODI World Cup but with 2 fewer teams.

But then, it’s an ICC event. Given that if India don’t win this year’s ODI World Cup or next year’s T20 World Cup, they might want to take that chance to win it.
