Assassins Creed II & Brotherhood

Good to hear, finised the first one in 2 days and it got really repetitive and boring after a while.

well I do the extra things more then the main story.
you finish the first one in 2 days..wow you must have been playing it alot.

Just had a chance to buy it on Sunday, and have been glued to it. The game is outstanding. I haven't played the first AC, but I really liked this one. Of late, I have played some really good Action RPG's, but this one is easily one of the best.

Up to DNA sequence 5 already :D .

In the first AC, were you also someone in an Animus being Altair?

You play Desmond Miles in the first one as well, but the memory sequences are of Altair, who is an Assassin during the Crusade era.

Ah I see.

We got to be Altair for a bit in this game when Desmond was having a bad dream.

Just finished it last night. Awesome game. GOTY. Still addicted to doing the side missions etc. Some of the Assassin's Tombs are really annoying but other than that great game! Strange ending to say the least. Sets it up nicely for the third one. I read on Wikipedia there will be a couple of DLC's by February, so looking forward to that.

Finished it yesterday, I stopped for a while when I had to get all the codex. I was also doing other stuff like statuettes.

Anyway, this game is the best game to platinum (or 360 equivalent) easily.

I bought it last Sunday and today it'll surely be my first platinum. Just need 40 more feathers and 4 or 5 more glyphs, and I'm done.

Got my villa at 98%, I reckon it should make 100% after I get the feathers. I heard that it only goes up to 98% (you need the addtional weapons from bloodlines), but I dunno, guess that's wrong.

My first platinum, and that too in 2 weeks, I'm chuffed :banana2 .

I quite liked the tombs since I really love the climbing in AC 2. Sometimes when I'm trying to get somewhere I just climb on the way there since the climbing looks and sounds cool. I hated the one with the 4 challenges, that was tough, and the obstacle course one wasn't my favourite since I couldn't get the squid to appear, and I kept falling off  . But all in all, the tombs were fun and exciting.

The story was really good. As much as I hated what happened at the beginning (I won't say what happened cause it's a spoiler), it was needed to make the story good. I loved the ending too, that was an absolute classic. I also loved how they spoke in Italian at points, and Ezio's beautiful accent.

I bought Uncharted 2 at the same time, last Sunday, and have only been playing this, so will get back to level 2 there tomorrow, will see how I compare the games. I played Arkham Asylum this year also, and I gotta say, I enjoyed this more. Both however lack something to do after the game. I'll be returning my AC 2 to get another game.

So yeah, either Uncharted or AC 2 for GOTY, Uncharted might pinch it because of the multiplayer. None of that MW2 ████.

I wonder where the third one will be... Britain? France? Egypt? America? Latin America? India? Middle East? Has to be at a time before guns and all were introduced, otherwise the knife assassination thing wouldn't work and the game would be just like any other game.

Are you talking about
what happened at Abstergo? I thought that was really needed to move the story forward. I would've been pretty unhappy if this whole game took place there again.
As far as the next one goes, Middle East is out I believe as the first one took place there. Wiki says it might happen during WWII or feudal Japan (best option IMO). You're right though, introduction of guns could ruin it. I'm thinking about doing a second play though for the story line, I kinda rushed through it.

Wiki also says there will be DLC's in January and February.

I got all the trophies like 2 days ago

Master Khan added 2 Minutes and 32 Seconds later...

Yep you are wrong.. I got 100% without buying Assassin creed bloodlines

Would love to see the next edition in colonial America, revolution time. Sure there were guns but they were mostly muskets and took a few minutes to reload, swords were still widely used back then.

Just want to kill some redcoats :)

Something like muskets are OK, like remember, we had a simple pistol in AC 2.

Yeah, I am talking about that, but also what happened to Ezio in Sequence 1. It started it all.

Cool. So yeah I should be done soon.

How the fearsome tweak am I supposed to solve the last glyph slider puzzle? I'm always one turn off when I try to solve it!
