Associates Outshine the Full Members / Canadawatch

So, I hear they dropped Ekana, Lucknow from the list of venues. It seems they've sprung a 3 D Shankar surprise by unearthing Raipur as yet another venue.

Does it have anything to do with the pitch currently being an abomination?

I believe so. However I had heard that they wanted to relay the pitch post the IPL. nit sure, why they dropped it altogether. The proposed venue list seems to be on the lines of CW 1996 with Eng v Nz setting the stage at Ahmedabad. Likely that Ind v Pak will be at the Chinnaswamy.

For the Europeans Scotland and Ireland should be favorites however considering Ireland's track record in these kind of events I am a little concerned about how they will go about this tournament. If they do slip up at some point Jersey should be on their tails to capitalize ideally however Germany and Italy are both teams I feel can cause some upsets in this interesting regional final.

As for the Pacific PNG should be the obvious favorite to win it all however I'm not really convinced about their chances considering they haven't played a single T20 since the WCQ last year... however this is the Pacific and the other teams in this competition aren't really that good.

Weather could play a part. All games in Edinburgh and a lot of double headers.

I wish we have Qualifiers and WC mode specific to each WC's in Cricket 24. Would be awesome to play as Japan to qualify for T20 WC and crash the dreams of all Indians.
