International Cricketer
However, apart from the yorker there was hardly anything to prove he is T20 worthy, let alone other formats. The nadir came when he lost his run up, balance and uglyly fell on the pitch.
Maybe because the yorker he bowled was to a mediocre batsman? He bowled the same exact delivery to Virat Kohli last night and he dug it out easily. His yorker in the warm-up game was a jaffer, he just couldn't really get his rhythm right yesterday, didn't seem to be getting the ball in the right areas, which is expected from a guy that's only 18/19 and not played professional cricket before. I think if Warne rates him highly, he's gotta have some talent. Give him time.

I posted it a couple of pages back.
If he wasn't particularly good then players such as Kaif wouldn't be sent home before him. If the Royals wanted to retain a pace bowler, I'm sure they'd have preferred someone with domestic experience to a complete rookie who wasn't particularly good.Or he just isn't paticularly good.

Just some kid with a unique action, doesn't mean his the next big thing in world cricket. If anything, the IPL will ruin his International chances because batsman will adapt to playing his action and get used to it and his unique'ness will wear off and he'll be nothing more then first-class bowler for the rest of his career. Look where Lasith Malinga is at now. Can't even make the Sri Lanka team and they don't exactly have the strongest first-class system in world cricket.
You do realise that Warne saw this kid bowl 2 balls before selecting him, right?
