Australia tour of Pakistan - March/April 2022

What a Shame. Aussies bowled well but this more a pressure of 500+ runs on Pakistani batters. It gets it into their heads. Bowling out on a home ground in your conditions... Cant get any worse than that. It was expected though considering our psychological fear against Australia be it on any ground.

Well Pakistan was like.. hold my pajamas.. We will make this pitch and series interesting. Great hospitality by them, leading from the front and collapsing so no more blames on the pitch :p

Just watched Muhammad Yousaf's press conference after this debacle. I got the feeling of 2006 Inzy era when they used to say even before the match finishes that "we are gone" Yousuf body language saying it all.

Have hardly seen Australia enforcing the follow on ever since the Kolkata 2001 Test.

Today was specially non sensical. Not enforcing it makes no sense. Gives Pakistan a great chance to get a draw although their attitude makes them deserved losers of this series.

They've played pretty much unlike the Pakistan team that I know. They don't give in so early. I would probably need to look at the highlights stuff to make out something of this game though.

Ahh well, I was unnecessarily blaming the pitch. Should have pinned the blame on the Pakistani batting instead.

Never mind, they have given us something to cheer about now :lol

To be blunt, there were not too many redeeming qualities from the opening Test of this much-anticipated series with a docile surface - which has since been deemed 'below average' by the ICC - rendering it something of a non-event. Now, all eyes are on the 22 yards that will be produced at the National Stadium in Karachi, with the hope that it will be a more balanced and enticing contest.

Pakistan could bat their life but they won't be able to save this one. Why not try and play your natural game instead and try to put pressure on the opposition?

You dont expect with Imam and Azhar to play a Natural Game in this situation. Babar is a different league though and he has been playing fine.

Yeah the score looks much better now! Would you consider Azhar's innings as an hindrance to the start Pakistan got earlier in the day? Also why do you think that despite having the skill and the talent, Azhar Ali comes up with such terrible innings full of questionable approach? The man scored doubles and triple tons for fun few years down the line. What has brought about his downfall?
