I've always rated Afridi's bowling and have reckoned he could make a side as a bowler. His batting is a bonus usually. He seems really hard to get away.

Yes !!! Pak. win . its 2-1 now. Afridi was on fire today with both Bat & Ball & also while fielding ! the match would have ended in 35 overs had he batted for 8-10 more overs ! his catch today was amazing !

Good Job Pakistan. I think Afridi is good at that opening spot in one day's. But this should only be done when we are chasing a very low or a very high total. If its somewhat around 230-280 mark than I think we should use a specialist.

Yasir Hameed could use some time, but at least he sticks around for a while. Where was he in the tests?

Pakistan have been playing good but really disapointing performance today!

Razzaq has to be brought back. He is a really good player and doesnt deserve to be forced to retire at such a young age!

Hope to see Shoaib Akhtar in the next match as he is selected in the squad!

Afridi says that he will open if he is asked but I think we'll give Khalid or stick with Nazir or Hameed, but on the other side, I believe it'll be Akmal on the other side.

Also Gul and Asif will sit out for Akthar and Rao.

Good display by RSA, credit goes to them.
But the way we threw the last wickets away... Absolutley pathetic!

Malik said that they learned from this, well I definatley hope so because this is not the first time it happened with us. I would rather like this to happen in todays game then in the series against India, so let's hope it was something good in this!

Congratulations to South Africa. Like I somehow expected when Younis Khan and Mohammad Yousuf were making runs the lower order still could lose the match. And they managed to that. The required runrate was less then run a ball, so the blame falls on the late order batsmen.
