Oh, the feels. I watched almost every ball from the second session onwards, and loved every second of it. Would've paid gold to be there.

Today's play abandoned after bad playing conditions (light and rain). The forecast says it's gonna rain the next two days too. 
Sadly, the forecast for Karachi is the same. Rain is expected during the second test.

It has been raining in Lahore since 6 AM in the morning too. That would a big shame if the tests go towards being abandoned or drawn.Today's play abandoned after bad playing conditions (light and rain). The forecast says it's gonna rain the next two days too.

December is not the season to play Tests in the north. Only Multan and Karachi are suitable venues. In Lahore the light starts fading around 4 pm. Today there was no glimpse of the sun.
These Tests were scheduled to be played in optimal conditions in October, but they were swapped with the LOs leg of the tour at SL's request.

And that^ decision was made solely to win SLCB's trust so PCB could host them for a Test series. Even if the first test was scheduled in Karachi, the second one would've been played in the Northern part, where the weather would've gotten worse. At least one test would've been ruined by bad weather, regardless of its position in the series.

The best venue for tests in December is Quetta, Hyderabad or other parts of Sindh/Balochistan. PCB made a very good stadium in Garhi Khuda Buksh near Larkana. I think it is called Benazir Bhutto stadium. That would have been an ideal venue with Karachi. A cadet college is also located near to the stadium so it will always draw good crowds. Quetta is not safe and stadium looks like it was built in stone age.

Great to see the Sri Lankan players touring around Islamabad. Hopefully, they can even go and have a dinner at Monal in Islamabad or go and see the Pakistan monument. Kudos to the few players for being brave and taking the decision to go and enjoy outside. They should have realised how safe Pakistan is. Great work by PCB

What a sight. Match already drawn, but the stadium is 75% filled on a gorgeous day, and Babar and Abid get centuries. Babar off just 119 balls.

Now i'm curious whether Naseem will be "rested" to "manage his workload", when he had almost 4 days of rest in this match.
