I'm pumped for this. The Test series on our home soil didn't fully satisfy me. I want to see more of Steyn and Clarke in the same match :D Man I hope they both fire.

Another 2 Twenty20s? Will be interesting to see what the crowds are like there for the Test Matches and ODI in comparison to the T20I's.

And will this be airing on free-to-air TV in Australia? Seems like FOX would have secured it pretty quick.

Nope, Channel 9 never get away matches, they are always on FOX Sports.

But I saw this add today about a free-to-air channel which will have digital TV shows on it for free-to-air viewers. Not to sure on the full details yet though.

Freeview? If it is, it ain't anything special really.

It's no fun reading texts! Well we had the Ashes on SBS, guess it's not worth the money to buy the rights to just a SA tour.

Hopefully Smith will be back then. :) And I would like to see a full strength Australian team playing against a full strength South African team.

And you think England have problems... :p

He will be. He has actually said he will be ready to play two of the cobras t20 games before the aussies get to SA. Boucher is the concern. Graeme will be ready.

Don't expect big crowds for the tests. Most people here prefer to watch test match cricket from home. Also its not holidays when the aussies are here so even if there are people who want to go to the cricket they have to work. Also they decided to give the tests to the big name venues instead of giving it to the likes of Centurion park which attracts the best crowds in SA.

The t20's and odi's will be sold out.

Bad news for Aussie fans

STUART Clark looks set to miss Australia's upcoming tour of South Africa after a recurrence of the elbow injury that kept him out of the 2-1 home Test series defeat to the Proteas.

Clark to miss South Africa tour - Cricket - Fox Sports

He was looking so good in his return taking 4 fer :( Only positive I guess is either Hilfy or Bollinger will get an extended run along with Siddle which should give us a good indication of who should have that 3rd bowling spot in the Ashes assuming Lee doesn't get back there.

Wow thats pushing it a bit dont you think? So the 3 new guys in your squad is the difference between us whitewashing you and you whitewashing us? Dang....they must already be the best players in the world eventhough theyve never even had a chance to prove it :P They better be because the other 8 guys dont really look like doing too much harm, cept for MAYBE Clark and Ponting.

Mine are:

Test: 2-0 (SA, with a draw in there prob in Joburg)
ODIs: 3-1 (SA)
T20: Tie

No room for MacDonald?

Thompson really let rip into the players.
"You can't pick Shaun Tait, seriously. He runs out of puff in a limited-overs match. No way," Thomson said.

"They better not be taking that refugee from Queensland that plays in Sydney. Nathan Hauritz should be called Nathan Horror. Does he spin the ball? They have to take Jason Krejza, at least he turns the ball.

"Mitchell Johnson looks tired. He's bowling so round-arm at the moment you may as well call him Mitchell Malinga (a reference to Sri Lankan slinger Lasith Malinga)."
