Troll time for @RichieCunningham is becoming lame. I guess he is butt hurt that the known, charged cheats that are Warner and Smith are a true representation of the person he aspires to be. It always amazes me people like him defend the corrupt and trivialise racism because they think comments about a scumbags wife is worse than than centuries of hurt and marginalisation.

You want the facts? Here they are, Australia has not beaten SA at home for over 10 years. That's pretty shitty for a team as you like to say, is the best ever. Trust me, I am not jealous of that record. Because they were sucking so much, they decided to cheat, blatantly cheat. Not only cheat but conspire to cheat. Not by adding sugar tainted saliva to a ball in a spur of the moment action, but sat down, rubbed their greasy little palms together and hatched a plan to get ahead in a game they were already so far behind. On top of that, they brought a foreign object onto the field. Go check your facts (used loosely here) all those other cases were not deliberate foreign objects. Only your beloved Australian captain,his thug buddy and their little poor little minion Cammy, did.

Who in the world gives a shit about how many World Cups they have won right now? They are cheats. Who cares about beating England in the Ashes? They are cheats. Who cares that Steve Smith is the (supposed) 2nd best batsmen of all time, cough cough, he is a CHEAT AND ALWASY WILL BE REMEMBERED FOR THAT. Their careers are almost finished if their mentally gets affected. I came across lots of memes in facebook that says "Rahul Dravid, Afridi, Du Plessis, etc... got one match ban for ball tempering but why people are making fuss about Smith and Warner".

The issue got serious only because they did 'plan' to cheat. Bancroft was seen pouring sugar in his pocket before the start of session and Smith did accept that they had decided to give 'it' a go. And hiding the material after getting caught in camera added more to the severity of the case.

Everything I am reading suggests one year ban and stripping of captaincy permanently. But he will still be free to play elsewhere. This will only be a CA sanction. Same for Warner.

They are free to play. However, CA will need to sign off a NOC, which they have already, but this might change things. Depends on the NOC agreement details. But technically they will not be able to bar them from IPL or any other league now. Same as KP.

I read somewhere Smith will be cancelling his IPL contract while Warner will still play in the IPL. Not sure to be trusted or not.
