PONTING FALLS

The Indian's have finally gained some momentum after removing the Aussie captain for 66. Ponting tried to loft one over the infield but was caught by the unusual high bounce and was hit on the glove. The ball then fell onto the stumps to the delight of Kumble who has picked up Ponting in both innings of the match...

CLARKE GONE

The Indians have made another crucial breakthrough in their bid to win the match. Michael Clarke was just starting to look promising when he was drawn into a cover drive by the one and only Kumble. The spin on the ball was great enough to clip the edge of Clarke?s bat and to put a little worry in the Aussie dressing room?

SYMONDS FOLLOWS

Andrew Symonds has been caught on the boundary for just 19. The Indians are now only 1 wicket away from the tail after Symonds tried to sweep a ball outside off from Kumble. Unfortunately he top edged it to deep mid wicket where Singh took a well judged catch?

Summary: The Australians are now on the brink of victory after some great batting from Gilchrist and Katich. The Indian's would have to show a remarkable bowling performance tomorrow to take the match...

GILCHRIST CAUGHT BEHIND

The match is now poised for a thrilling finish after Gilchrist and Katich looked to be taking away the game from the Indian?s. Gilchrist tried to push a quick delivery from Tendulkar through the covers but was beaten for pace. The ball found the edge and was brilliantly taken by Dhoni who had only milliseconds to react. All of the crowd are on the edge of their seats?

LEE OUT

The Indian?s are making a huge leap for the victory after claiming Lee for just 2. Again Kumble was the hero; He bowled a slow off break which Lee tried to drive through mid wicket. The ball spun enough to pass the middle and take the edge to leave everyone in suspense?

WARNE GONE!

What a game! India has claimed the huge wicket of Warne who was easily capable of staying in with Katich to see out the target. Singh claimed one of the best and most important wickets of his career. He bowled a brilliant off cutter which surprised Warne into popping one straight up to Dravid at mid on. The Indian?s are now favourites to win this incredible game?

DOWN TO THE WIRE!

Some inspirational batting from Katich and McGrath has seen the Aussies to within 3 runs of the target. The crowd went crazy when Katich cover drove a wide ball for 4 to bring the Aussies close to a miracle win. Can they do it?

HEARTBREAK

India have won a heart stopping game, the final curtain came for the Aussies again to their nemesis Anil Kumble. McGrath was beaten by superior spin from Kumble, a noise was heard and the appeal went up. There is a cloud of doubt hanging over the decision but at the end of the day the series in now more alive then ever?
