More runs for Smith, hes making them at the right time just like Hughes. The other guys like Hussey, Rogers have failed to make a score today.

Nice solid 60 by Forrest, he seems to have added consistency to that middle order that was missing. And 50 for Smith, his batting looks to be coming along very nicely.

Knowing the selectors they will probably name Smith in the backup bowlers spot. Hard to say where either are in the batting queue, would be a tough one as White has done well in ODIs and been solid in FC, Smith has been killing it in FC.

Victoria got out so quickly that I forgot to do my Marcus watch. Hastings the lone hand left stranded. On Marcus his form now rivals Symonds when he was picked, aka absolutely no form.

Good idea. North is pretty useless with Hauritz in the team.

But I still want to see Hughes play

That's what I've been pushing for awhile, now I have something to back it up While Simon Katich is a better spinner than him atm, he has problems after bowling and same with Clarke plus the selectors seem to rate his spin so this is the best way to get him in.

Of course Hughes at 6 would be good too.

Oh Copeland with a wicket already, hes been an awesome find, always takes a wicket.
