Maddinson is also injured so Warner is certainly well down in the pecking order. Pretty handy to be able to replace Cameron with Coyte whose also been in good form and Copeland for Starc.

Didn't know Maddinson was injured thats a real shame, hope he's not out for to long. not sure if Henriques is able to bowl yet...

Pffft, why would we rest Hilfy. Obviously instructions from the Aussie selectors.

Yea was surprised seeing Henriques in the side. Figured this would be the chance for the selectors to try Warner again.

Not a good start for NSW and not good signs for Australia with Watson out early. The only batter with any form is carrying an injury.

Good to see Tasmania picking Krejza for FC matches again. Maybe an impressive performance from him today can get him back into the selectors thought for later in the series.

Well no better chance to do it when you have your captain being the one of the Aussies.

And the first of the collapso pair is out for a duck, the other has 2 aka 19 runs short of his 100.

So Hussey got a big zero. But more disturbingly, it took him 18 balls to get it. Caught by Dave too - so no brotherly sympathy...:p

And more wickets for Butterworth, he's got a bunch this season.

Looks like tough conditions all round the country for the batsmen. Guess the extra wet weather of late hasn't helped the pitch preparation, and it sounds like it might continue for the next few months as well.

Yea this is an interesitn development really. This could change the dynamic of the series, especially for ENG bowlers mainly Anderson.

Plus be the catalyst for AUS picking 4 quicks.

If he gets dropped might be an awkward Xmas dinner :p

And now the other collapso guy is out guess which mark he didn't cross?

Faulkner and Butterworth with 4 fers, promising one would be Faulkner as hes a potential future Baggy Green boy. Only 2 batsmen from the Aussie squad left that haven't failed in the 1st innings. I know the pitch is seaming around but not good signs for NSW with how easily they collapse.

Terrible performance from everyone today. Only Smith has looked reasonable, big fails from the rest of the squad which can't be good for confidence

HAAA in my 15 years of watching cricket from AUS. This is definately the first season i can recall pre test match FC performances getting so much attention.

Add Ponting to the list of failed Aussies, gone for 7. Copeland gets him, cannot believe he is so underrated, should be in the side for the rest of the season. Maybe this will finally get him the recognition he deserves even though its an absolute green top.
