Warner still can't break into the team and from what I've heard hes been going alright in Grade/2nd 11 cricket. O'Keefe finally returns with just enough time to push his claim for the Boxing day test.

Mark Sorrell wasn't offered a contract for next season by South Australia and has quit. Assistant Jeff Vaughan takes over.

It's a little funny because I was thinking how SA used to have a lot of good players, but in the last decade they managed to make two finals, once in the one dayers in 05/06 and then the Big Bash last year. Their results have hardly changed, even though the talent pool is arguably worse.

In other news, Lehmann has linked himself with Queensland for the T20s. That doesn't mean he will take on the role of head coach, however.

He actually does bowl a bit of spin in the futures league and grade cricket, somewhat of an all-rounder, so never say never!

Ferguson only 15 for the SACCAs, doesn't help his cause to come in as cover for Ricky Ponting. Jonny Holland bowling tightly too, he's up to almost 15 overs 2/16 - maybe local knowledge might get him that MCG spinner gig

Haurtiz must think hey the selectors won't pick me on my bowling so I might as well become a batsmen. O'Keefe average will take a hit with that low score but his bowling is the main thing. Maddinson is such a talent, hes now doing a Hughes.

Selectors are in a bit of trouble with Beer, looked average against Tassie and they will need to pick a spinner at the SCG unless Smith is going to fill that role.
