Unless Simpson has a blinder in the bigbash this year he'll no longer be a contracted player at the end of the season. Floros is a much more talented player and is the future.

South Australia are going to have to go shopping for another spinner in the off season, they haven't looked like playing bailey since the champions league. Should try and get either Zampa or Doran off a spin heavy NSW.

This is our best opening so far, Warner looks to be regaining some of his opening touch and this is the best knock Khawaja has produced in the OD format.

What a knock by Khawaja, easily his best OD knock, well above a run a ball which was his problem before he got dropped. And Maddinson WAG.

A big score even for NSO. Probably worth 350 in a 50 over game. Looks like it was a drier pitch this time, but when there's early moisture I think this is a ground that can benefit from split innings, because one team has to get through the tough period and set up a total, only for the other team to just steam-roll the chase. There won't be an easy chase today however, because NSW have dominated from the get-go and are asking more than 200 in 25 overs.

Always a good crowd at North Sydney, a small picturesque ground which sports many of the SCG's old stands and thus a reasonable 20k capacity. It would be interesting to know whether much analysis is given to the ground's success.

Yeah, there needs to be some serious talent redistribution, although Bailey now looks like a bowler who just hasn't developed since he first turned up. Maybe if McGain wants to offer his advice to a youngster, Victoria could lure someone.
