Yea that is a failure, not enough to really pressure North's spot. If he is picked it will be based on potential. Khawaja now back in the box seat and Smith could float his name back up there with some runs.

Thought Hughes was going on for a biggie but couldn't get the 50. WA seem to have gone for bowling all rounders, Porter is a pretty decent bat but don't know about the bowling although he has 2 wickets right now. Mitch Marsh is more a bowling all rounder atm, his batting i as hit as miss as North but his bowling has been alright.

He did make an OD ton earlier this season, but yeah, he has the potential. Too bad he was out on 93...

Apparently Katich has hurt his calf, Hughes could be in with a chance if he performs in the second dig?

If Katich is out then Hughes should be a given, he is the only player that has performed other than White and to some extent Smith lately. Khawaja would be the other guy that could open and hes still in.
