Wade is having a wow of a season, second 100 now and his strike rate is in the 90s.

I reckon it's time to promote O'Keefe and Hauritz up the order if we are sending this side out again. SOK is better with the bat in this format than the ball and he is one of the few that seems to be able to up the tempo. Hauritz is in awesome form with the bat. Both should be ahead of Smith and Nevil and it's probably time to drop Jaques whose been average this season. So:

That was a fair smashing for a team that was number 1 a couple of days ago. The batting was awful.

Yeah I guess it was a nightwatchman rather than a pinch hitter because there wasn't any need to score faster. But then they didn't even really need Hussey, White and Quiney to win. In a tighter chase, it might have been a decision that put them in a short lull and left them playing catch up.

Odd that Victoria have signed Prior of the big bash with Wade playing so well.

Well i cant see the selectors in the even that Haddin is rested for a few ODIs, picking Wade of Paine just yet. Paine hasn't done anything to lose his # 2 spot to Haddin really.

It looks as though Sky TV in New Zealand will be showing a good chunk of the Big Bash this year. I wonder what prompted that, it's awesome though because the games are usually on at a pretty good time here.

The Big Bash starts tonight with Tassie taking on W.A. I believe we've got the best recruits in Rana and Ryan Ten. Hopefully we can do decent at this for once.

Wish Sky UK would start bringing some AUS domestic games. Its been long overdue, especially given that ppl in AUS have been seeing ENG domestic games for more than a decade now.
