Indeed. Really good back-up if anything happened to Kallis (injuries/international commitments), so will be missed.

Seems like a likely starting 11. Mithun might be given a few opportunities though after his wonderful domestic season. Don't know whether he's ready yet for this stage. If Steyn goes badly, Mithun provides an able replacement and Uthappa/Jaggi can be replaced by Van Der Merwe/White. Definetely would play VDM on a track favouring spinners. Pietersen and Morgan are top batsmen for this format, but you'd think Bangalore will go with last season's eleven that got them oh so close to the trophy.

That is pretty strong, even without the internationals. Indian bench strength is always an advantage. The likes of Goswami, B Kumar and Pankaj Singh are all handy as well.

The player to watch for me has to be Manish Pandey. Talented, made his mark in domestic Indian cricket in the last IPL with a fabulous 113* which was the highest score in the tournament, and the first hundred by an Indian in the IPL, and only one so far too. Big expectations after a fantastic domestic season saw him become the top run getter.

Ah, White might probably take his place going by his recent international form. But, yeah, VDM could come in too, especially on tracks that favour spinners.

Why only 4 intl. players per side? BRC has got many good players and i hate it when they are warming the bench and guys like Balachandra and Vinay Kumar are playing instead of them.
