A exellent 115 from opener Adam Gilchrist proved too much for Bangladesh in Dhaka ,Bashar won the toss and decided to take on the Australian attack ,rookie teenager Iqbal who wasn`t selected to face either New Zealand or South Africa was given the task along with in-form Nafees and the two of them did their job well as the tourist pace attack was blunted Watson especially proving expensive ,both reached their 50s but were both back in the pavillion within an over of each other ,Iqbal who had been aggresive missed a Hogg top spinner being removed for a gutsy 62 then next over Nafees went for a wide delivery only to help in on to Gilchrist for 60 ,the tigers never recovered from that and lost wickets rapidly and a good looking total was beginning to look a far cry ,Andrew Symonds spin landed him with 3-17 ,Bangladesh 210-7 after 50 .
The Australia reply started with Mortaza getting smashed back over his head for four off Gilchrist ,Gilly had set the tone ,he never looked like losing his wicket and played the spinners well his downfall came when on 115 he went for a 3rd run with Michael Clarke only just to fall short despite a dive ,but by then the damage had been done ,Australia 212-3 off 43

That Gilchrist is a real legendry Keeper/batsman which i have ever seen. Wonderful win by Aussies without any problems. 10/10 for your neatness that you maintain in this story mate
Bangladesh got a proper lesson in cricket in the 2nd ODI in Chittagong as they went down by 9 wickets ,in the morning Australia won the toss and put the hosts into bat and to be fair made a decent start even if the run rate wasn`t flowing ,but just as the home partizan crowd were getting behind their side the young and inexperianced Tamim Iqbal waltzed down the wicket to take on Brad Hogg only to nick it to Gilchrist for 15 ,Ricky Ponting stuck with spin with Hogg , Symonds & White causing havock to the batting card ,once again Nafees hit yet another 50 in what was the only joy for the home side while Cameron White`s part time spin gave him 3-45.
It could have been such a differant outcome, maybe not the end result but by the amount of wickets the toursits won by, had the tigers held on to their chances when given the opertunity , Hayden was dropped on 8 & 32 before smashing a wonderful 92 ,he was helped by fellow opener Adam Gilchrist who added to his 115 from Dhaka with unbeaten 74 .

Michael Clarke hit a stunning 114 from 102 balls to complete the series whitewash , "pup" looked in tremendous form as he dispatched the bowling all round the ground ,he had came in with the tourists on a staggering 8-2 after 3 overs , Mortaza first ball of the innings clean bowled the in form Gilchrist then in the 3rd over he had Hayden caught beind for 7 ,Ponting and Clarke then went about setting things back to normal Ponting reaching a nice neat 50 before a rare error with a Razzak delivery sent him packing ,Michael Hussey joined Clarke who immediatly started off where Ponting finished , Australia reaching 265-5 off their 50.
The reply got off to a bad start as rookie Iqbal had his off smump removed by a Lee yorker ,Bashar & Nafees again steadied the boat as they have done so much in the past ,but Brad Hilfenhaus got his just rewards when he had the tigers capatin trapped plumb lbw ,Nafees was then bowled next over by Symonds and once again their innings collapsed ,they could only muster 185-8 off 50 overs ,Australia winning the series 3-0.
