Tonight the match of the round is no doubt Chelsea verses Manchester United. The reigning champions verses the runners up. This will no doubt be a great match for the spectators at Stamford Bridge who are hoping Chelsea can continue their unbeaten streak and make it five wins from five matches. Where United are hoping to take the three points on the road an close the gap on their rivals. This will be a tactical battle between Mourinho and Ferguson with both managers knowing each other's teams like the back of their palms. Lets have a look at the line ups for todays game:

As you can see United are going in with their usual XI with no real surprises there. Saha and Rooney will be partners up front with the in form Ronaldo on the right wing. It was a toss up between Carrick and Hargreaves but they went in with the fitter, Carrick. Chelsea have decided to leave out Shevchenko and go with Drogba and new signing Malouda up front. Lampard and Ballack are the two midfielders who will no doubt be making life hard for Carrick and Scholes which will be a very good battle.

Key Match Up:

Ronaldo vs Ashley Cole

The in form Ronaldo has been scoring goals for United and setting them up for his teammates with them runs up the wing. Whereas Ashley Cole has been criticized for being lazy in recent matches and must work harder to make sure he doesn't give Ronaldo any space or freedom to do what he does best.

Round Six: Manchester United 0 - 5 Chelsea

Look at the scorecard and you can tell straight away that the match was all Chelsea. They absolutely dominated play and went ahead in just the 13th minute thanks to Drogba. Very disappointing for the Reds to go down so early, and they never recovered as Drogba went on to score a hat trick, Ballack scored from a great cross and Malouda's awesome team goal. For the Reds, they had many chances from mainly Giggs, Ronaldo was unlucky not to score from a shot that hit the crossbar and Tevez was always attacking. Some diving from Saha didn't impress the fans as he was made to look foolish. This result is a real wake up to this team that are reigning champoins but are dropping points thanks to lapses in concentration, lack of speed in the defence and poor finishing. So next week against Derby you should expect to see some new faces in the XI and a new playing style because if they keep playing like they have today and in the opener against Birmingham then they are going to have troubles catching up to the leaders of the table, Chelsea.

Ferguson furious: "Things need to change"

Sir Alex Ferguson has promised some changes going into their next match against Derby after one of the worst performances from Man U in recent years. Manchester United were dominated in the midfield, their defence was slow and the strikers didn't work hard enough. In particular Ferguson was especially critical over his more experienced players.

" Giggs just doesn't look like he can play 45 minutes, Neville just isn't keeping up with the pace of the game and Scholes just isn't having the same impact that he was last year", Sir Alex commented.

Not happy at all

Ryan Giggs has already been told he won't be playing this week after some discussions with coaching staff over if he is a needed player. Giggs has been feeling the pinch and isn't making an impact. Gary Neville is also expected to face the axe after a poor display against Chelsea and is set to be replaced by the more quicker and younger, Wes Brown. Favourite son Paul Scholes is also in doubt for today's game due to ankle soreness.

Ryan Giggs isn't making an impact and could be on the way out

Round Seven: Manchester United vs Derby

Todays match was a match that was a must win for United but was also a match where Sir Alex Ferguson could experiment with new blood in the team. There was talk of a few changes and some veterans being pushed aside. The most noticeable the removal of veteran, Ryan Giggs. Giggs was dropped because he was just dominated in recent weeks and wasn't making an impact in games. Neville was dropped because he just wasn't keeping up with his opponent on the right side. Also, Paul Scholes was dropped, like Giggs, for not making an impact.Anyways, United went in with the following formation, with Portuguese wingers Ronaldo and Nani on either side of the pitch and Hargreaves sitting in front of the back four. Anderson was used in his proffered role as an attacking midfielder.

The game was dominated by United, but they were only able to score a 1-0 win. It was a typical Manchester result, getting to 1-0 then holding there lead. But the goal didn't come till after half time when the change was made, Carrick for Hargreaves. The change was made during a United corner, and Carrick quickly got into position and scored a blinder from a Nani corner. From this goal the reds were able to hold on for th victory in a display that wasn't as convincing as some thought with last placed Derby losing yet another match.
