Barclay's Premier League 07/08 - vs Everton! *Youtube Goal Highlights* Stats now up!

6th and 7th we should be
first - arsenal

this is shocking,
what are arsenal doing in third,
Henry may have left but may i remind you who are top of the 2007-08 english premier league???

A win is a win, but you would expect a bigger score against Derby.

Amazing goal though

Yeah I know, I had heapsa chances. Tevez couldn't get them on target! I was worried I was going to lose to Derby or draw! Then Carrick came on and bang, I score.

You think that goal was amazing? You should see the next goal against West Ham coming up:cool:

Round Eight: Manchester United vs West Ham United

A 3-1 come from behind victory was just what the doctor ordered as Manchester were able to score more then one goal a match for just the second time this season. The win didn't come easy though, they went down in the 67th minute and the crowd went hush. But that just made United work even harder as the forwards were playing with more aggression. Saha came on for the tired Tevez and Carrick came on for Anderson in a move that was made due to fatigue.

Then in the 75 minute, Saha made a run directly at the keeper and went for a shot that was blocked wonderfully well by the goalie, but Ronaldo was there to get the crumbs and slam it into the back of the net which rocked the stands of Old Trafford. A 1-1 all draw was likely, and would have been a good result after going down 0-1. But this wasn't the case with the Reds having all the momentum they again pushed forward with Saha and he was able to score the second for United that put them up 2-1 late in the game. Now the crowd was really rocking, but then one of the goals of the season took place as Carrick took the ball on the right edge of the box, swung back inside and smashed a great shot off his left peg that swung in the air and went top right corner! That goal is no doubt an early contender for Goal of the Month.

So with a 3-1 victory Manchester can be happy, but a lot of the youngsters looked fatigued and some will need to be rested for their next match against Aston Villa. Louis Saha also sustained an injury that may rule him out of the next match. Who will make a return? Has Giggs learnt his lesson? Will Neville make a return?

Saha goes down with it what looks like a knee injury

Manchester United 1 - 1 Aston Villa

Manchester United was held to a one all draw tonight as they failed to capitalize on a 1-0 lead leading into half time. It was Anderson, who started on the wing, who scored United's first. It was a result of a free kick that Carrick took quickly and fed to Hargreaves who was waiting on the edge of the box - he heard the call from Anderson behind him and played a great through ball that allowed Anderson a clear shot on goal that ended up in the back of the net. Every Manchester player ran up to congratulate the youngster and he must of felt a million bucks.

But then John O'Shea undid all their hard work, when a corner came in and he was the man who put the ball in the back of then net...problem was...it was the wrong one and he conceded an own goal! Cheers from the crowd as O'Shea goes down on his haunches. United knows it's going to have to work hard to get themselves back into the game.

But that hard work couldn't result in a goal as the match ended 1-1 with Aston Villa scraping in one point at home.

Oh no! Disspointing loss! A header into your own goal...
How do you get Ronaldo to score so much, he hasn't score for me all season yet.

Well, he is always on the corner of the box, because I play him on the wing, so I always give it to him to blast in some beautys. Oh and he is my penalty taker so he has had I think one goal from a penalty.

Next match coming up is Wigan...then a great match against Arsenal!

great work so far hooper... but if you let chelsea beat you to the post someone will get hurt...

lol

Great work Hooper. But on table you have 13, 14, 15 and 16th twice lol. Love the goal highlights...

A nice story you have here Hooper. To bad you chose a bad team to do it with :p. Cahill and Arteta will destroy you when you play Everton.

Manchester United 3 vs 0 Wigan

Wigan traveled to Old Trafford for a match that was always going to end in a particular way - a loss. United were dominant all match with Louis Saha coming back into some for with a double and Carrick chipped in with one as the Red Devils blew the match out of the water. Wigan had no chance to win this match as Ferguson made sure they took the maximum points leading into the match against Arsenal.
