Barclay's Premier League 07/08 - vs Everton! *Youtube Goal Highlights* Stats now up!

Manchester United 4 - 1 Arsenal
The match of the round was no doubt the clash between two of the biggest rivals in the Premiership - Arsenal vs Manchester United. United were hoping for a win against a top four side for the first time of the year, whilst Arsenal were hoping to get one over there rivals and climb a few spots up the table. Arsenal went in without troubled striker Adebayor who is not on terms with manager Arsene Wenger after he was caught frolicking with the coach's daughter! There is a rift between the two and is yet to be sorted, this handed Bendtner his first start of the year - oh and he made it worthwhile! United went into the match with a usual line up, Saha and Rooney up front, Giggs and Ronaldo on either side, Hargreaves and Scholes in the middle. Neville, Vidic, Ferdinand and Evra completed the back four.

The match was one that both teams would have surely prepared for, and it looked like United got it spot on. They were working well as a team and making some good runs and breaking through Arsenal's defence on a regular basis. Then early, in the 4th minute Rooney latched onto a scrambled save and slotted the ball into the back of the net. 1-0 to United and it was only a kick off a minute ago. 12 minutes later, and its Rooney involved again as he feeds the ball to Ronaldo in the box who blasts to the keepers right as the Old Trafford stadium begins to sound like an ACDC concert. Bendtner, who was starting in his first league match, made the most of a difficult chance as he beat three United defenders and slotted through a goal that he will no doubt remember, the crowd went hush as his left foot shot left Vand Der Sar stunned! 2-1 going into half time and its not over yet! Half time came and went, play was pretty balanced until Saha was given a golden chance that he couldn't let slip, he recieved the ball dead center in the box and switched from left to right and scored a wonderful goal - top corner, top class. 3-1 now and the fans can sit back in there seats and relax. Ferguson then decides to rest some stars in Rooney, Giggs and Neville. He then gives Nani, Tevez and Brown a chance for some valuable game time. Well Tevez used his effectively, he was planted deep into the oppositions half when he got a great through ball that he used to get one on one with the keeper. He beat the keeper, the ball floated in the air for a while before he got some head on it, combined with some head action from an Arsenal defender, the ball was able to pop into the back of the net and the result was secured. A 4-1 victory that surely made it clear that this team isn't a shadow of last years team that won the league. A win for United and a loss for Chelsea narrows the gap to just 5 points in the league.

Note: Video messes up for one of the goals late in the clip, keep watching for Tevez's last goal:p

How many times did you have to play the match to get that result? :p

:laugh Once! Iam not lying, with no Adebayor I was too good...My next match against Reading however has taken me 2 times to finish because the first time they scored in the 88th minute so I got angry and smashed the tray that the keyboard sits and slides out on...resulting in me shitting myself for when Mum gets home:D
